cross-correlation is determined to be unreliable (cf. Col. 41) no correction is applied
and this value is therefore the same as in Col. 42 (cf. Sec. 3.2.5).
Col. 34: DEC_CORR (D) [deg]SAS task evalcorr
Corrected Declination of the source in degrees (J2000) after
statistical correlation of the XMM coordinates in Cols. 42 and 43 with the USNO A2.0 source catalogue
using the SAS task eposcorr. In case the

Col. 35: LII_CORR(D) [deg] SAS task evalcorr

using the SAS task eposcorr. In case the
cross-correlation is determined to be unreliable (cf. Col. 41) no correction is applied
and this value is therefore the same as in Col. 45 (cf. Sec. 3.2.5).
Col. 37: RADEC_ERR (E) [arcsec] SAS task srcmatch
Statistical 1
error on the source position in
arcseconds. It is associated with the weighted mean RA and Dec
coordinates as calculated by the SAS task srcmatch
(Cols 42 and 43, cf. Secs. 3.2.4 and
6.4).
Col. 38: SYSERRCC (D) [arcsec] SAS task evalcorr
The systematic 1
error on the source position in
arcseconds. It is set to be
if the SAS task
eposcorr (cf. Col. 40) results in a
statistically reliable cross-correlation with USNO A2.0 optical
catalogue. Otherwise the error is
(see Col. 41 and Sec. 3.2.5 for
details).
Col. 39: NMATCHES (I) SAS
task eposcorr
The number of matches between the USNO A2.0 coordinates and the
detections of this XMM observation in the eposcorr
cross-correlation (see Col 40 and Sec. 3.2 5).
Col. 40: EPOSCORR_LIKH (D) SAS task eposcorr
The likelihood of the statistical fit to the cross-correlation
of source matches of detections of this XMM observation with
the USNO A2.0 coordinates using the SAS task eposcorr
(their eq. 1). If the fit is reliable (see Col. 41), the resultant correction
is used to rectify the RA and Dec coordinates from the
observation source lists (Cols. 42 and 43) For a more detailed description see
Sec. 3.2 5 and
the SAS task documentation on eposcorr.
Col. 41: POSCOROK (L) SAS
task evalcorr
The value is set to True if the SAS task
evalcorr that evaluates the likelihoods in Col. 40 signals a reliable and
statistically significant improvement in the source position.
If the probability of improvement is only marginal, it is set
to False. For details of the evaluation procedure see
Sec. 3.2 5 and
the SAS task documentation on evalcorr.
Col. 42: RA (D) [deg] SAS
task srcmatch
Right Ascension of the source in degrees (J2000). It is the
weighted mean from Cols. 46,
50, and 54 as calculated by the SAS task
srcmatch.
Col. 43: DEC (D) [deg] SAS task srcmatch
Declination of the source in degrees (J2000). It is the
weighted mean from Cols. 47, 51, and 55 as calculated by the SAS task
srcmatch.
Col. 44: LII (D) [deg] SAS task srcmatch
Galactic longitude of the source in degrees. It is recalculated
by the SAS task srcmatch from the mean values in
Cols. 42 and 43.
Col. 45: BII (D) [deg] SAS task srcmatch
Galactic latitude of the source in degrees. It is recalculated
by the SAS task srcmatch from the mean values in
Cols. 42 and 43.
Col. 46: PN_RA (D) [deg] SAS task emldetect
Right Ascension of the PN detection in degrees (J2000) from the
