Details of the observation and exposures (11 columns)
- OBSID
(J)
The XMM-Newton observation identification.
REVOLUT
(J) [orbit]
The XMM-Newton revolution number.
MJD_START (D) [d]
Modified Julian Date (i.e., JD - 2400000.5) of the start of the
observation.
MJD_STOP
(D) [d]
Modified Julian Date (i.e., JD - 2400000.5) of the end of the
observation.
OBS_FLAG
(J)
Quality flag for the whole observation: 0 stands for good (max
1 - 2 obvious and unflagged spurious detections); 1
stands for okay (up to ~ 8 - 10 obvious and unflagged
spurious detections); 2 stands for crowded field (with up to
~ 8 - 10 obvious and unflagged spurious detections).
See Sec. 3.3.5
for details.
PN_FILTER (6A)
PN filter. The options are Thick, Medium,
Thin1, Thin2, and Open, depending on the
efficiency of the optical blocking. (For a detailed description see
3.3.6 EPIC filters and effective area on
http://xmm.vilspa.esa.es/external/xmm_user_support/documentation/uhb).
M1_FILTER (6A)
M1 filter. The options are Thick, Medium, Thin,
and Open, depending on the efficiency of the optical
blocking, (For a detailed description see
3.3.6 EPIC filters and effective area on
http://xmm.vilspa.esa.es/external/xmm_user_support/documentation/uhb).
M2_FILTER (6A)
M2 filter. The options are Thick, Medium, Thin,
and Open, depending on the efficiency of the optical
blocking, (For a detailed description see
3.3.6 EPIC filters and effective area on
http://xmm.vilspa.esa.es/external/xmm_user_support/documentation/uhb).
PN_SUBMODE (23A)
PN observing mode. The options are full frame mode with the
full FOV exposed, and partial window mode with only parts of
the FOV exposed (in different sub-modes, see Tab. 2.2). For a detailed description see
3.3.2 Science modes of the EPIC cameras on
http://xmm.vilspa.esa.es/external/xmm_user_support/documentation/uhb.
M1_SUBMODE (16A)
M1 observing mode. The options are full frame mode with the
full FOV exposed, partial window mode with only parts of the
central CCD exposed (in different sub-modes, see Tab. 2.2), and timing mode where the
central CCD was not exposed ('Fast Uncompressed'). For a detailed
description see
3.3.2 Science modes of the EPIC cameras on
http://xmm.vilspa.esa.es/external/xmm_user_support/documentation/uhb.
M2_SUBMODE (16A)
M2 observing mode. The options are full frame mode with the
full FOV exposed, partial window mode with only parts of the
central CCD exposed (in different sub-modes, see Tab. 2.2), and timing mode where the
central CCD was not exposed ('Fast Uncompressed'). For a detailed
description see
